Dr. Chris Hentschel
Partner, Ulysses Advisory Group LLP; Former Founder and CEO of Medicines for Malaria Venture
Dr. Hentschel is a molecular biologist who has had pioneering and often transformative leadership roles in biosciences whether in the public sector, the private sector or in public-private partnerships. He has also been a non-executive board member of several philanthropic non-profit organizations associated with global public health. A biochemistry graduate from King's College London, he started his career as an academic researcher at the National Institute for Medical Research (London) where his studies gained him a series of research fellowships first in London, then as a European Molecular Biology Fellow at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Having been involved in the development of many successful products in the life sciences he remains fascinated and excited by the power of innovation to transform and save lives.
